Håfa adai! My name is Veronica Perez, but many people call me Vern. I am a third year medical student at NYITCOM-Jonesboro. I was born and raised on Guam, and I definitely plan to go back after I finish residency in the states. I’m no longer sure about what specialty I want, so hopefully I can figure that out by the end of this year in clinical rotations! I have a bunch of hobbies so I don’t know if listing them is any benefit to you, but I can tell you that it is very much achievable to maintain hobbies and go through medical school.
