I grew up in Dededo and graduated from SJS ('16) and Harvard College with an East Asian Studies major ('20). I took a gap year after college and spent it at home volunteering as a contact tracer and working at the Guam Memorial Hospital with the Infection Control department. I'm currently a 4th year Harvard medical student and will be applying to ophthalmology this cycle. I'm excited as the Co-Advocacy Director of Chålan Åmte to bring action to and awareness of Guam's healthcare scene both within and outside of our island community. I'm also looking forward to encouraging and strengthening the number of home-grown physicians through the mentorship channel. Outside of medicine, I love practicing and competing in kendo (Japanese swordfighting martial art), trying new coffee and cocktail concoctions, and strolling in nature.
