Hunter Sidell

My journey into medicine was shaped by the people and communities of Guam. I moved to the island during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and earned my undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Guam. During my time here, I found purpose through service—supporting seniors in accessing COVID-19 vaccines, working with children on the autism spectrum at HunterSpeaks, and had the pleasure of going to elementary and middle schools on Guam to do philosophy with children. I also like to read, play piano, and kitesurf. I’m now preparing to start my first year at the University of Washington School of Medicine, carrying with me the lessons and generosity I’ve received from Guam. My hope is to one day return and give back as a physician serving the people of the Pacific.
