Hello! My name is Eugene, though I go by Gene. I was raised in a military family and spent my childhood between Guam and various states across the U.S. I earned my B.A. in Creative Writing and B.S. in Psychology from Washington State University, initially envisioning a career in writing. After graduation, I spent several years exploring creative expression, during which I developed a growing interest in medicine. Having taken a non-traditional path, I feel a strong connection to supporting others on similar journeys and helping them recognize the value of their unique stories. Outside of medicine, I enjoy reading, writing, and creating music.
