Håfa Adai! My name is Alexis “Lexi” Leon Guerrero. I graduated from the Academy of Our Lady of Guam and am currently majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Guam. I work as an In-Home Care Provider under the Department of Integrated Services for Individuals with Disabilities and as a genetics research assistant for Dr. Daniel Lindstrom. I also volunteer in hospice care and at self-measured blood pressure stations. I shadowed in pediatrics through the Health Opportunities and Medical Exposure (HOME) Summer Program in 2025 and will participate in the Cancer Research Education, Advancement, Training, and Empowerment (CREATE) Internship Program this summer 2026. Aside from medicine, I am a bikini bodybuilder and have won a few medals in NPC and WNBF competitions. I also love playing guitar, watching movies with my family, and playing House of Dead at C41 Cafe. As a pre-med member of Chålan Åmte, I hope to help high schoolers and fellow undergraduates find local opportunities to explore and grow their love for healthcare and our community.
