Hello! My name is Adrian Fontao and I was born in raised in Sourthern California. I attended University of California, Berkeley where I studied English and Biology. Throughout undergrad, I had varied interests in ecology, medical humanities, and improving healthcare access. I have worked as an EMT, PCT, healthcare navigator, literacy tutor, and research assistant. I am now a medical student at UCSF, and I hope to further serve Guam and the wider region through my involvement in Chålan Åmte. I hope to help pre-meds from Guam pursue a career in healthcare as well as contribute to health equity research that improves access to healthcare in the Pacific region.
